----We were talking in class about the why attitudes towards neighbors could be different. I think it might have something to do with how close you live to your neighbors. I'm from Houston, Texas, and my house is maybe 100 feet from my neighbor's house. We have more space between us, so when we run into each other outside, we tend to talk for a minute and catch up on life. I'm sure that the situation is different in a denser city like New York.
