I'd get bored and zone out. After a while of nodding my head in agreement, I'll excuse myself to go to the bathroom and not come back.
It would depend on what they're saying about politics. If they are telling me something I don't know or in an amusing way, I'd be interested.

Also here the ansewers are similar. From these is clear that politics is not a popular subject to speack of in a party. Many of us would prefer to switch the discussion or go away, pretending to go to the bathroom, like me. Someone would stay with the "new friend" to tell them about his politics ideas, but I think it's quite rare.
In Italia è rarissimo che tra 15/16enni si parli di politica.nel caso comunque ciò si dovesse verificare ognuno reagisce in modo diverso.
A differenza di Edoardo credo che il parlare di politica in Italia sia cosa molto frequente anche tra ragazzi della nostra età. Personalmente non gradisco questo argomento, però mi capita spesso di assistere a discussioni del genere in molte circostanze: dalla classe a sotto l'ombrellone in spiaggia.
Però penso che sia molto difficile di affrontare,come ha detto edoardo, l'argomento "politica" soprattutto nell'età anche da lui specificata. Ad una certa età però penso che l'argomento diventi più frequente e più interessante
