Discussion

Hi! I would also like to know the meaning of "a cachete"

My Generalization for Costa Ricans based on the answers given:

My interpretation is that Costa Ricans view money as necessary to live. Most of the words/phrases show that above all, money is a necessary commodity; "no pude salir," "vivir," "medio para vivir," and "necesario" was included 3 times.

My Generalization for United States based on the answers given:

My interpretation is the United States citizens view money as the key to a successful life. The words mostly reflect what money can lead to in our lives, showing words like: "wealth," "respect," "success," "job," and the most frequent was "power."

My generalization for Costa Ricans is that they view money as something that is necessary in order to live and it is very important. Some words used frequently were "necesario", "importante", and "vivir".

My generalization for the people in the United States is that they sometimes view money in a negative way because things are very expensive and many people do not have large amounts of money. Words that are used are "expensive" and "lack of".

"a cachete" significa tener suficiente dinero
