What is the population of China?
While there were some many recurring terms on both sides such as the great wall and Terra- Cotta, your side gave more in depth and insightful responses about China. For example you mentioned things like the first emperor or the forbidden city, which wouldn’t necessarily be the first things that come to my mind when i hear China. Is there a strong sense of nationalism in China as there is throughout the US.
中国有几千年的历史，有着悠久的历史文化，56个中华民族，十几亿人口。倡导社会主义，团结一致。是一个伟大的国家。在中国受欢迎的是美食和一些古建筑习俗等
中国文化源远流长，中国美食多样美味，文物古迹数不胜数，长城雄伟壮丽。
两国学生对中国都会想到人口，长城，但是在“美国”那个主题有美国同学说到home但是中国这里却没人提到家我觉得这个值得思考。然后我还想问问美国同学觉得中国是工厂的原因，是因为中国人口多还是生产多还是别的什么原因呢？
长城是中国的象征，一提到中国脑海立马浮现长城这纯属正常，但是我现在发现一个问题，中美两国学生似乎都忽略了中国国宝—–可爱的大熊猫这一关键。众所周知，中国地大物博，上下五千年文化源远流长，人口众多，是文明古国，在美国人眼里，中国当然是作为外国存在，正如我们看待美国一样，所以，多次出现“foreign”一词不足为奇，但是对于出现“factory”一词有点不解。当然，中国美食也不少，期待美国小伙伴的到来，品尝美食，进行两国文化交流。
The United States use to be a producer economy but in recent years we have transitioned into a consumer economy, we import cars from Europe and electronic goods manufactured in China. American’s probably associate China with factories because of the “Made in China” stamp that you see on so many products purchased here.
