Discussion

What does "Chepos" mean? The translation says it means "humps."

Costa Ricans view the media as liers and nosy people.

Americans view the media as corrupt and annoying.

"chepos" significa alguien que quiere enterarse de todo aunque esto no le incumbe.

I am a little confused with the word amarillistas.

The Costa Ricans view the media as being informational and commanding in how to do the correct things. They also se it as focusing around transportation. You can see this with their use of "informacion", "la forma de hacer algo", "manejarlos correctamente", "carro", "tren", and "transporte".

The United States view the medis as being centered around gossip, rumors, lies, and they have a negative mind set towards the media. You can see this through their use of "gossip", "lies", "intrusive", "rumors", "obnoxious", etc.

es alguien que es mas metido que un colico, de todo quiere enterarse
