A true friend

Un véritable ami

on whom one can always depend, whom one can
always trust, to whom one can turn in trouble
remains loyal, but objective.
that you are sexually attracted to
who always listens
who can be trusted and is by your side no matter how bad the situation
who cares about your happiness.
who cares for your well-being.
who defends you even when they know you are wrong, is always there
who does not change with time nor circumstance.
who is there during the good times and the bad.
who is there for you in your worst moment
who is willing to sacrifice his/her interests or time and loves me despite
my faults.
who loves you unconditionally through good and bad times and never ask you
to change who you are.
who understands and loves you as who you are.
who will do anything for you no matter how difficult it is for them.
who you can always count on
who you can always rely on
who you can turn to any time of day or night.
who you dont need a reason to talk to
whom you can trust and love spending time with.
whose shoulder you can cry on.
will be completely loyal

tu as fais les 400 coups
toujours prêt a écouter vos salades

Discussion

The French and American answers share many themes,
especially on the subject of trust, dependablilty, and
unconditional support. What interested me the most
from the French side was the observation of the "400
coups." I only know it to mean "dangerous or risky
undertakings." What sorts of things do you do? Do
most people this age test boundaries together?

des étudiants américains: "who will do anything for you
no matter how difficult it is for them", "who is willing
to sacrifice his/her interests", "is by your side no
matter how bad the situation".
impression?

I think this way an excellent explanation Arnaud, I
think the same thing occurs here in the US.
My question is about the authority that one defies. Is
the authority that one defies often parental authority?
Is there a difference between defying parental authority
and general laws?
Is it common for parents and their kids to have friendly
relationships or is the relationship based more on
obedience and the child learning the rules? I know this
may differ from family to family but what is your
opinion?

quelques jours ;o)
